Many homeowners who order custom railings want a matching gate, and many who start with a gate end up adding railings. Local iron fabricators build both, so the style, steel and finish match.
Gates we build
- Driveway gates: single or double swing, or slide gates, with automatic openers available
- Side-yard gates: replace a sagging wood gate with steel that won’t warp
- Courtyard and entry gates: decorative gates for Spanish, Mission and modern homes
- Pedestrian and walk gates matched to front-yard fencing or porch railings
- Pool gates with self-closing hinges and latches. Ask about local pool barrier rules.
Materials and finishes
Most custom gates are made from powder-coated steel, which is strong and secure. Aluminum gates are lighter and won’t rust. Wood or composite slats inside a steel frame are popular for privacy. Finishes range from classic satin black to bronze and textured gray.
Automatic gate openers
Driveway gates can be fitted with swing or slide openers, keypads, remotes and phone access. The opener needs to be rated for the gate’s size and weight, and safety features like photo eyes and auto-reverse are part of a proper install.
Repairs
Sagging, dragging or rusting gates can often be repaired: new hinges, a reset post, added bracing or a refinish. Mention repairs in your request and include photos.

Common questions
Can a gate be made to match my existing iron railings?
Yes. Matching picket style, scrolls, top-rail design and finish color is common. Photos or an in-person look help the fabricator match details.
Can you automate a driveway gate?
Swing and slide driveway gates can be fitted with automatic openers, keypads and remotes. The opener is sized to the gate's weight and length, and safety sensors are part of a proper install.
My iron gate sags and drags. Can it be fixed?
Often. Sagging is usually caused by worn hinges, a loose or leaning post, or a gate frame that needs bracing. A fabricator can repair, re-hang or rebuild it.
